my marble catfish is really acting weird. he's normally always hiding during the daylight but he's been just laying in one spot since yesterday and is very pale, has no appetite at all, and normally he has the biggest appetite. and this morning I guess he freaked out and took off straight out the back of the tank through the lid. luckily was in the room and got him back in the tank asap. but what could be the problem with him? none of the other fish are acting Strang and I've never had any issues with him since I've had him the past year and a half.
they aren't the best... i need to clean my tank more often. I'm gonna be doing a 25% water change every other day to get nitrite and nitrate levels down. I have an extra 20 gallon tank i was gonna set it up real quick and maybe just move my catfish to it till he's better and my big tanks water is better quality
Keep him in the tank and do daily water changes. Unless the water is really that bad - means you have a test kit and tested it or bring a sample to the fish store they check for free.
You don't want to stress him out more by moving him to a new tank that prob is not heated or cycled.
