So what the next poly to get?
Currently 2 small delhezi bichirs in 40 breeder. 3ish inch and 4ish inch. Penguin 350 filter (up to 75 gallons). Looking to upgrade to maybe a 100 gallon when they get big. Until then, probably at maximum capacity. Does anyone know how much retropinnis bichirs cost when they are big? A small one is already $69.99 on liveaquaria.com which sounds crazy expensive to me.

reef tropical fish. Do you know of any in Orange County that sell less common types like retropinnis/weeksii/lapradei?
I haven't been to any LFS in years! So I can't help you with that. I remember that the Reef would always have endli,Senegal and delhezi. There's not much in Orange county. Best source of bichirs imo is ordering online from like Toyin (Rehoboth Aquatics).

Or you could try posting "WTB" in the buy/sell area. I'm pretty sure there are some local Mfkers with the bichirs you are looking for too.
