It looks like Bellator will be having their version of a senior's tour as Tito Ortiz will square off against Chael Sonnen on 1/21/17.
Just watched BJ Penn vs Yair Rodriguez. Penn got outclassed by a much better fighter. Should have not come back to the UFC. There was no rationale to this happening. 4 straight losses from 2011-2017 span.
Agreed. It was tough to watch lol. And the judges decisions tonight were completely whacked.
Judges got it wrong for the Lauzon vs Held fight. This is what the winner stated afterwards.
“I disagree (with the decision) 100-percent. I got screwed in my last fight and felt like the decision should have went my way. This time, that was not my fight. That was 100-percent Marcin’s fight. I disagree 100-percent,” said Lauzon following the split decision
Yeah, I thought it was real classy of Lauzon to say what he did. Don't think many other fighters would've said the same when put in the same situation.
Lauzon has always been a classy guy. Has a lot of wins and losses but the guy fights quite often and is always fun to watch. He will probably be around a while.
I was at a party so I missed the fight but Tito Ortiz took out Sonnen with a rear naked choke in the first round.
Fedor is coming back next month to face Matt Mitrione.
For me, the highlight of that card was Paul Daley's flying knee to Brennan Ward. Freaking vicious.
