Went in for some bloodworms today and saw this little green terror beat up and fins kinda torn, so I couldn't resist lol here we go at 2" my gf took a liking to it

I couldn't resist after wanting one for a while and this one was in the corner and the bottom fins are torn the tail has a slight slit so that was my excuse to pick it up

Looks good! I've only had mine a few weeks and after settling in they are showing a tonne of personality. If I sit in front of the tank there are two of them that immediately start hitting the glass - not in an aggressive way, more like a "hey, there's the bringer of food! Feed me" kind of way.
Yes same with mine I think it's bc it was all beat up and hungry and now he's in paradise
Yah bro and honestly I'm picky about green terrors all of them in the tank looked stressed skinny and torn fins but this one was in a corner lol seeing them try to catch a certain fish in a tank full of similar looking fish is quite a site hahahahaha
I have not seen one that looks good locally in a long time, but the store I frequent is down to 1 or 2 juvies, so maybe they will get a new batch soon. One guy at my lfs used to let me net my own fish so I always got the ones I wanted, but unfortunately he moved.
