Hello; Saw one at the dealer a few days ago. A bit too weird for my taste. Cost well over 100K to get great mpg.
cool but worse for the environment than gas cars. Look up "rare earths
Hello; While I am not up to date on this, it appears you do consider things the correct way. That being the impact of a product starts with the gathering and refining of natural resources, the manufacturing process, shipping at all stages, operation while in use by the consumer and the final disposal cost.
Hello; Back to the thread. Many hobbies over the years. Things I am active with now include=
-bicycle riding for fitness- a cheap Specialized mt. bike around ten years old.
-collecting, ripping into my computer, then burning tunes from CD's. I have somewhere north of 700 CD's so far.
-flyfishing and tying my own flies.
-shooting expensive holes in paper targets.
- still do most of the service and repair work on my own vehicles. Sometimes for other folks but not so much as in the past. Still get satisfaction from a proper repair job.
-reading mainly sci-fi but others as well
- not a planned hobby but I have become quite good at taking naps.
