Stunning pair, is there 2 species in Talamancaheros
From what I can see, this is the only cichlid in that species. But as we all know, that can change. The name comes from the Talamanca mountains of lower Central America...combined with the only heros...meaning "hero". So Hero of the Talamanca mountains.

Ok thanks, just asked as I have seen the name t underwoodi about wasn't sure if it was just a different catch location or a described species.
