I have 5 iredescent babies 1 oscar baby a huge pleco, striped Raphael catfish and a tinfoil barb and 2 clown knife fish in a planted 90 gallon. This is my growing tank for my 300+ gallon tanks. But this is my first time in 5 years ever having an issue with ich/ ick. I need help asap I can return them all at once but really don't wanna piss of my job I work at a pet shop. I actually really enjoy them. They were all fine until 2 days ago I got a new id. Need input. I already took my carbon filter out and added super ick API into the tank. The temp is going to be about 86. Any tips on what I should do input needed asf

Add some salt to the tank. Increase tank temp to 89 degrees. Increase by a degree an hr till 89 and keep for several weeks to ensure clearance.

I think you are doing what you can with the ich treatment and raising temps. You could add more aeration to help keep the O2 levels up with the higher temps.
Ich is one of those things that we all have to deal with from time to time.
Just remember to keep up any treatment even after the white spots go away to be sure you actually kill all the parasites, or you could get another outbreak.

I assume by "iridescent babies" you mean Iridescent Shark, Pangasius hypophthalmus
I am not familiar with the treatment you are using. So you may want to check that it is safe for the catfish.
I like Ruby reef kick ich, I have used it a few times on scaless fish and with plants and it works very well. It is a little costly to treat larger aquariums though.

I may be mixing things up, but I didn't think ick med should be used tinfoil or iridescent's? Ick cure works great. I've used it or I do large water changes, use Epsom salt, turn up the heater, use a uv (with ne meds in the water).

I just don't understand why I got ick. Think it was the baby. I can return them all just sucks. It's like 10 fish. Should I try or no. Maybe my oscar pressured the id. He is a bit territorial. Just some more things if you got any other tips

Only thing I had was ick mes around me. I don't have access to other stores and I wanted to start as soon as possible. I'll try themed at 1/2 dose and then salt

Hello; just so I understand, you are thinking of taking fish with the ich parasite back to the fish shop where you work??
I also gather you do not use a QT on the new fish you bring home, is that correct??

My job won't put them back in the tank I'm the fish caretaker. Also I have one but it seemed fine. He was at work doing awsome with everyone else. Idk it's so confusing. He was a new shipment and I treated them and got him 3 days after

Do you know if API super ick is dangerous to be near the tank. It's right next to my bed what I'm treating
