Welcome back bro! Beautiful ST
wazzup bro. thanx.

St datnoids really go for this price?
They vary in price & "quality". This particular one is expensive.

Apparently.
apparently....

That's crazy hahaha I could get 6 rays or build an 800 gallon tank for this must be super rare, never raised dats before
That's not crazy. Many other fish go for a lot more. You say six rays?? Well, if you buy low grade motoros, you can buy many many more.....

Looks tb from vietcong, could be negative dough
If paper work certs showed baht, would sell out inna heartbeart imo. Just my 2 penny doough.regardless, nice job getting this smaller widebar specimen! @frankcosco

©©©;)
thanx bro.

^^ Ebonics? ^^

I have no idea what this generation says anymore.
lol.... wazzup man??

LOL!....haven't heard that one in a while.....Dough?
lol

Wow, ridiculous price tag but I hope you get your asking price. Do people actually spend this much on fish? This is just past my line of thinking. Glws
People actually spend much much more. It's a niche market. Not for everyone.

There are members on this forum who have dropped 6 figures on a fish. St dats are rare and if you want one you gotta pay the price. GLWS OP!
True true.....

What fish is $100,000? Did he get a great white shark or a killer whale? Didn't see them on anyones list
Very expensive fish are usually not on lists..... you'd be surprised.....

I don't want to say what the fish is because the person who bought it may not want everyone knowin what he paid. Research a bit and you may figure it out on your own. Certain color morphs and body shapes of already expensive fish make them jump to a whole other bracket.
very very true.....

Give an example of a fish thats $100,000
examples.... 1st patinum dat on the market sold for 400k... yes $400,000. 5 years ago, Albino pearls went for over $100,000 a piece.

read above response

That is not a fish.
it's cool though... lol

Dolphin, beluga whale?
never bought any of those, not sure.... those are salt water though... lol....

Know it's not a fish but what fish cost 100k
lol....

Polkadot stingrays I guess and platnum asian arowanas
lol....

Glws can't wait to see who buys this dat, stunning none the less.bump for a rare fish
lol.... trust me, with the negative comments he/she would get, you probably will never know.... at least not in these parts of the woods.....

Wasn't sure if you were joking or not.In some countries in Asia, where fish keeping is taken much more seriously than it is here and where some people can obviously afford to pay for such extravagances, koi can command such prices.
Thank you. Very true.

I was joking because i don't know a fish anyone has that cost 100k, most I've seen koi go for was 50k but I believe they could go for more. I'm not a datnoid guy so i was just wandering if this was a normal price for a st.
STs have gone up in price. Especially perfect classical specimens at this size.....

My next boat I'm buying is close to 6 figures, haha no way in hell would I spend that on a fish I just can't fathom the thought. What if it died on you that would suck.
Again, it's not for everyone.

Dat dought for dat Dat dough!

I can't tell the difference from IT and ST but I am sure Frank did his homework prior to purchasing! Been a while since I seen any ST F/S!

GL bro:cool:

Btw, tank looks like tile, is it a DIY tank? how about a Full Tank pic:D
jaja!! I might have skipped on my homework!!! I had my boy tile the background!! Bottom is just the tank. Not a DIY, 1,000 gallon acrylic tank. I got some cheap ITs for you if interested. BTW, good to hear from you.

Primo ST. I've seen similar ST with IT traits sell for about the same price. There's no question here: classic ST. The color, the shape, the stripes...everything is perfect. This is a primo fish for a primo collection.

As far as expensive fish, there are quite a few that have sold in the 6 figure range. Many have found their way to the states.
Thank you sir!! You know what's up!! lol.

Got an example?
man.....

tcav88 tcav88 go look at vincentwugwg vincentwugwg collections he has definitely spent what your asking to look at
that vincentwugwug guy is just on another level!! OMG!!! lol.

Already seen his 3k and 4k gallon tanks but we're talking one solo fish
man....

fishon555 fishon555 baller status, all you bro!
I've spent over $1k for a fish before. If u want the best u pay for it, period! It's not for everybody but there are definitely hobbyists out there that are serious collectors and will pay that and more for a specific fish! I'd buy it if i had the cash for it! GLWS!
amen..... I;m not religious by the way... haha.....

Highest priced fish I've seen on mfk so far could be wrong
man.....

Some members on here have, albino pearl rays which can fetch a pretty high dollar amount. Like others said, colour morphs and short body fish price goes up.

Kevin at stingray biology has an albino bosemani now that could fetch six figs
albino rays have come down in price by oh my, they used to be in the 6 figures.....

Really? 6 pages of trolling cause some newb doesn't believe fish can be expensive? We need a millenial smiley, oh wait, that would probably be offensive wouldn't it?

Good luck with your sale Frank, and nice to see you around again!
Thank you brother!!

Triggered

Look at the bright side.....at least the thread is kept well bumped lol.

Fam is good but still in the reef game lol. Have been itching for a nice 100+ cube tank with altums and morays tho:cool:. Tell the wife we said hello.

LOL.
Nice tile. Next try a concrete scape, I did it on a reef biocube 29 and it was dope! It did break and I think there were 2 factors, I did not place something on the bottom to help reduce expansion and the glass was very thin. Next tank I get, I plan to do another DIY concrete background, salt or fresh.

1k gal? dayum, my boy went all out!!

I appreciate the offer on dats but I got no freshwater, I went reef:cool:
125gl skimmer in a 21gal sump for a 15gal display tank:p:D:D:D:D
