Hello; I am sick of his taking a knee and the others who are also doing the same now. They can do what ever they wish except when on the job as far as I am concerned. I do not watch football to see that sort of protest. The NFL needs to have a clause in their terms of employment about not doing that stuff when at work.
I guess if he was a better QB some would try to make excuses for him but not me. As far as I am concerned the best players in the league should be sent home when they do such stuff.
My hope now is that he does not get picked up by a team and the ones who have recently started doing the same get cut. I may be wrong about the date but at some point each team has to cut the number of players down to regular season numbers. Not sure if that has happened yet.
This protest stuff should not screw up sports the same way it has bathrooms.
I have to agree 100 percent with you. It really upsets and bothers me when people show disrespect to this country when there are people in the military who are serving our country risking their lives in order for us to live free. Many of these gentleman have suffered severe injuries or have died for our freedom.
It is a personal insult to me and the entire country when people do not pay respect during the national anthem.
I have NEVER liked Colin Kapernick, he is over hyped and over rated. Add to the fact his mother is white and his father is black, so what he is doing really makes no sense. I think it's mainly to get attention because he can't do it the right way because he sucks at football. He is thriving on the media attention he is getting and he will keep doing it because it excites him to see his name in the media.
Some of the NFL players and dare I say people today, are cry babies. If they don't get their way, they protest and blame the USA and the government. Destroying government properties, throwing protests, disrespecting the flag and the country, and so on and so fourth. It makes me sick to my stomach that people can live in this country with much unneeded and uncalled for hate.
What happened in the past is the past.... we need to focus on the future.
In my area, people are protesting about the Christopher Columbus statue because they feel he was a villain... shaking my damn head.
I love USA and always will, but our citizens today need to wake up, take the tampons out of their asses, and become strong people not sensitive whiny babies who act out when they don't get their way.
