But they aren't doing that. Cops that had done nothing wrong were killed in Dallas. The NFL threatened the Cowboys when they wanted to honor them. NFL players wear nasty anti police clothes at practice and that's OK.

The NFL players couldn't care less that innocent police are being killed.

Most of the people in this country that are poor are white. Most of the people killed by policemen are white. Do you see NFL players protesting that?

Women in this country are being raped and beaten. Some of them by NFL players,. Do you see NFL players protesting that?

On the whole, NFL players aren't against discrimination. As long as it's against cops, white people, and women, they have no problem with it at all.
Absolutely. Let's not forget the many times the NFL condoned felony thuggery, and tried to stifle patriotism, and supporting law and order. THIS is what this protest against the NFL is about. Kaep is the last straw. I hope it means the demise of the NFL myself.

Drstrange love, more white people are killed by police because they make up 62 percent of the population. http://www.snopes.com/do-police-kill-more-whites-than-black-people/
"According to the most recent census data, there are nearly 160 million more white people in America than there are black people. White people make up roughly 62 percent of the U.S. population but only about 49 percent of those who are killed by police officers. African Americans, however, account for 24 percent of those fatally shot and killed by the police despite being just 13 percent of the U.S. population. As The Post noted in a new analysis, that means black Americans are 2.5 times as likely as white Americans to be shot and killed by police officers."
Also your lack of researched information is further shown when you say "The NFL players couldn't care less that innocent police are being killed." First of all would you say that about Warrick Dunn? "Warrick Dunn is probably the most charitable player out there. His mother was killed while working her second job in an armed robbery. Since joining the NFL, Dunn made it his mission to provide support for single parents so they don't have to go out and get second jobs.He has a Home for the Holidays program, which gives these single parents a home. Dunn has provided more than 100 homes for these families. After Hurricane Katrina, he challenged each NFL player to donate $5,000, resulting in about $5 million being raised for Katrina relief.Dunn has received the Bart Starr Award, Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, "Whizzer" White NFL Man of the Year Award and received the Giant Steps Award from Bill Clinton." from bleacher report. Also Nnamdi Asomugha who has started a foundation to aid Nigerian widows and orphans is one name to research.
https://www.sbnation.com/2017/9/29/...-hurricane-harvey-patrick-peterson-foundation I find it frankly idiotic that you would believe roughly 1,696 players would all be indifferent to police being killed.
Also, the NFL is not shutting down anytime soon regardless of what you watch or not. The NFL makes money from licensing games to networks.

Wow, talk about confirmation bias. Yes, the raw numbers of people shot would be higher, since the rate of crime is higher as well. You can't compare the raw numbers when the populations are so skewed. You look at the percentages, and there is a study from a Harvard professor that shows the percentage of race is fatal shootings is pretty even across the board. Meaning the police are very consistent in the use of force. It's an easy one to find though, despite not being reported by anyone but Fox news which is said. I don't want to give Fox news credit for anything, those right wing crazies.

That's not to say everthing is rosy either. While the study did find that while black or brown people (study's words, not mine) are no more likely to be shot by police, they are 50% more likely to be physically touched; pushing, handcuffing, searches, pepper spray, ect. Which is definitely not cool.

The name of the study is An Empirical Analysis of Racial Differences in Police Use of Force by Roland G. Fryer, Jr. This only covered six Texas cities, three Florida counties and Los Angeles County, as well as New York City’s Stop, Question and Frisk program,so this does not reflect upon the entire US.I wonder what the results of a more comprehensive study would be.

This is of course irrelevant to my point. A person who truly protests discrimination (as you claimed) will do so where ever it appears, not pick and choose.

If you only protest for or against a person because of their color, then that protester is in fact practicing discrimination.

Also your lack of researched information is further shown when you say "The NFL players couldn't care less that innocent police are being killed."

First of all would you say that about Warrick Dunn? "Warrick Dunn is probably the most charitable player out there. His mother was killed while working her second job in an armed robbery. I assume you got lost here. You quoted me talking about innocent people being killed and you responded about homeless people and widows and orphans. Totally different groups of victims. Again, if you only care about certain victims, but not all victims, then you are practicing discrimination.

I find it frankly idiotic that you would believe roughly 1,696 players would all be indifferent to police being killed.
Nice straw man. I didn't say "every single NFL player" or "all NFL players."

The reason you think it's idiotic is because it is idiotic. I said "The NFL players..." which is obviously a reference to a group, not to each single person. As in "Americans like baseball" or "children like ice cream" is not meant to mean every single American or every single child.

Also, the NFL is not shutting down anytime soon regardless of what you watch or not. The NFL makes money from licensing games to networks.
Another straw man. I didn't say the NFL was shutting down soon. But, I'm glad to see that you already have the notion in your head that it will be shutting down at some point.
