I know the feeling LOL. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction... as always! :) BUT if I can convince you we can pick up one of each and drive down to Olympia together, get a discount haha
FishBeast FishBeast I sent the guy an email, waiting on response.

My concerns are really more that Croc the big endli leaves it alone. Croc shows aggression to the weeksii by biting the side fins and the koliba by biting the tail, the other polys will get a warning nip but no real contact. So this could be an expensive mistake or it could be a nice addition.

Will let you know what the guy says about the cats.

That’s a good point... really scary if the cat gets picked on. How big is Croc? my Endli bites on 2 other specific laps but everyone else is ignored. Yeah let me know for sure... I still have to work on getting budget approval from the missus :D

Croc is the largest at a little over 18" the last time I measured. She really has a huge issue with the Koliba that she shared a QT tank with when first purchased. Its almost as if she remember being in a small tank together and still holds a grudge. I dont know what is up with the weeksii as to why she dont like it.

I have a little cash set aside to get the cat so I can get it

Its a risk especially with croc. These scaless cats arent built to take poly "nips" the juruense got the crap kicked out of it.

In all honesty i would 1st decide this.... say the cat has a great personality (active and a good eater) BUT croc takes a bite out of crime, the easy answer would be to rehome the cat....but would you be willing to rehome croc ?

Even tho my vulture is left alone the jur is not, im going through this right now. I may have to rehome my ornate

The answer to every catfish compatibility problem is Pylodictis olivaris. It may not have the armour to take poly bites, but its aggression and powerful jaws will allow it to negate the advantage of poly armour - weak jaws on weak skin and strong jaws on strong skin. The croc won't be able to push it around. If you're not going to upgrade the biting force, you'll have to upgrade the armour; for that there are Doradiids, Loraciids that might suck polies, the Irwini, like justarn justarn has and many others.

Dude that cat would eat DMD123 lol

The problem with polys is they arent aggressive even tho every now and then we come acrross a few that are gor the most part its just continually establishing dominance. Trully aggressive fish would destroy even the toughest poly
