Im really sorry. Do you have anything at the momentI have no idea. I don't know if snails can have some disease in them? I ordered some online for the first time. Other than that it seemed kind of neurological. He just tanked really quickly.

Yeah, I have a dwarf pike (compressiceps), a new little spiny eel (circumcinctus), a chameleon whiptail catfish, and a betta in with some minnows and cories in a planted 20 long. Still a fun little tank. The dwarf pike, betta and spiny eel are interactive, and the eel gives me my snake-like-fish fix.
Oh and my 5 gallon feeder tank with cherry shrimp and some leftover pond snails. It's still planted so also looks nice even though they get fed to my other fish. LOL

Here's the spiny eel and the dwarf pike. Oh and the betta shows up, too. Spiny eel is looking for his own food... the other two want me to give them theirs. Ha

It is a fun tank - you have to move in close to see everything that's going on, and that's kind of fun. It draws you in, and you get little surprises when new things pop up.
The pike is a really cool little guy, and I am completely in love with the eel. I'm betting I'll be able to hand feed him once he gets a little bigger. He's not even 3 inches long, although he's a pig so I think he'll grow relatively quickly.

Supposedly 6-8". More commonly closer to 6 in captivity with this specific species apparently. They're smaller than a peacock but more active and not a burrower/hider.
I feel rather lucky with this guy because he really only hid on his very first day, and has eaten since day one. They're supposedly nocturnal but mine be-bops around most of the day. Maybe because the tank is sort of dense and therefore more dim? Whatever... I've been putting off spiny eels forever because the smaller ones are supposedly so notorious for never being seen. So I'm stoked to have found this dude locally.

I dont wanna jynx things but Hulk really has mellowed out. At 1st he was iffy with the het but they've settled nicely. He doesnt chase here even with food present now.
Idk in the past hes always been a jerk towards her. When they shared the 150 he chased her relentlessly. I kind of think its his age showing. He chased her a bit on the 300 but for the past few weeks hes been easy on her. Even eating pellets with her. I think its likeSo awesome! Maybe because she's been so submissive to him? Do you think it helps that they're opposite sex fish?
Happy to see her out and about and showing off her colors.

said a long time ago that they calm down as they grow. Plenty of times the fish would piss me off to no end and dmd qould defend him lol telling me to be patient
