LOL. There are tons of RTC that are "ill cross that bridge out there......."I'll cross that bridge when it gets there. It has a long wayz to go and it grows slowly but its in an aquarium that is under stocked for this exact reason. I appreciate the thought regardless.
I appreciate ur concerns but these fish are not like rtc. The behavior and aggression is nothing in comparion to an animal like a rtc. I had the misfortune to own one before when lrg ones were not common 15 yrs ago. It went from 3" to 2 ft in less then 16 mnths. It ate a few tabk mates including a pleco and arowana. Both were the same size of it. That was lesson learned and that was my only rtc! In any rate, this fish is not an aggressive eater, shows no aggression at all and is shy nothing likea rtc that basically is an eating machine. Not saying that once it settles in it won't be more actively looking for food but from my experience which is not much with this specific fish, it is docile and hangs out all day in the same area not straying far from the area shown in the pic next to the tig. I am excited to see what transpires with this fish and hopefully we all learn more about them as i update the post regularly.LOL. There are tons of RTC that are "ill cross that bridge out there......."
Good luck for you and the fish.

That's all i know of atm besides myself. I was hoping someone that dose/did have one would chime in with their experience. How big have people grown them in the home aquarium?
Idk. Only guya I've seen are those 2 nationally. I know of a few internationally.
