Update:

If you don't follow my threads there has been some changes.

Toni is in a 6 foot 125 gallon tank now. The Roseline sharks had to be moved out, she ate one
I no longer have the JD's. The Electric Blue male was given to a fellow MFKer.

Here is a video of her current tank and friends.

Thanks, when I first got my Oscar. It was but an inch long and had like 5 spots on each side. She sure has changed a lot since then.

I try to give them a good home, I do 50% water change every three days.
Wow. That Oscar really turned out to be a stunner. Lovely fish.

Update:

The 125gal with Toni and Hotlipz are doing great now. All has calmed down now that the RT has been rehomed.

Toni is really getting some girth on her now. Head on she is nearly three fingers wide now. 20180503_175208.jpg

Hotlipz has calmed down a lot now that the male RT has been rehomed. I think maybe his maleness was triggering her to make eggs. She has dropped two batches now, eating them as she lays them. Lays about 10 or so eggs, turns around and eats them all up. Looks to me her seam is getting thicker on her tail.20180426_223304.jpg

The 29gal I had with the Jewel cichlids is shut down now. Had to separate the two. Bigger one was trying to kill the smaller one, Tried to rescue it, didn't work out the, bigger one was given to Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683

I have not updated about my 55gal in some time. A lot if things been going on. It's been Juan and the RTs grow out tank for a couple months. Now that both Juan, R.I.P. and the RT are gone I got some new cichlids to call the 55gal home. First off we have a pair of HRPs. And to my surprise this morning they have spawned! I also have a male and female Blue Acura in there, not a pair yet, but they are working on it.20180504_095324.jpg 20180504_095342.jpg

The HRPs ever diligently guarding them eggs!

Sad news, all the babies are gone. When we got to the wiggelers, there was only about 20 left. Maybe me peaking in on them scared them or something. But, it was thier first breeding so I assumed I would lose most if not all of them. Let's hope next go around pans out better.
