What do you do when you hate your neighbors

Honestly HOA's are good if you can avoid those strict ones. I'm gonna take a picture of something later and it will explain better.

I get people not wanting someone to tell them something about their property but that's why they have the choice to not buy in an HOA.

What I do like is say my neighbors are having crazy "different lifestyle" parties at all hrs of the night, or his dog is crapping on my lawn, or he's draining his pool into my yard (still can't believe that one, or like any of the issues thats been mentioned in this thread....... They get a letter saying to fix the issue.... If they don't they eventually get fined.... Instead of me having to have a conversation that could end up badly :)

triple post!, lol,,, I was a member oh HOA for 15 years, did not like it. so when I bought this place I was wanted to make sure no HOA, I can mow my own lawn, paint my house, (any color I want) and take care of my roof.

I want to put a flag pole up with a chargers flag not a seahawks flag next to my American flag I can do that.

if they play loud music all night, start early and put your own music on loud all day to stop them sleeping too. If someones dog was crapping on my lawn I would drop a very large one on their door step

That not happening already look at that before buying. Cowboys blue and silver will be flying high along with the Stars and stripes.

True but we were the 1st buyers and the Mrs is the HOA president so all that dumb shhhh is getting voted out.

We already had one guy come to my house....infact it was the old lawyer. He asks to speak to my wife because one of the neighbors has an baseball teams flag hanging up. I laughed said not a chance go read the bylaws and walked away left him standing in the street
