This might seem like a stupid question but is the yellow guppy male or female?

looks female. Squarish chunky body and a darker patch above the anal fin and no gonopodium.

I don't know. She isn't about to give birth, but if she's been kept with a male any time recently, she will be soon. They can have multiple pregnancies from one mating and they don't always get pregnant right away.

The rule of thumb with guppies is if she is, or ever has been, in a tank with a male then she's pregnant.

How many you got? They are easy to breed and to sex, males are red when mature, females yellow
