I came home to one of my angels laying on his side at the top of the tank. He is breathing but wont take food and is just laying there. He has a little bit of red on his dorsal fin but the other one has the same thing. Whats wrong with him?
The ph right now is around 8-8.5. I was always told to maintain a balanced ph than to buy a bunch of ph downs and start changing n messing with it. The aro and the pleco i have are pretty hearty fish but im guessig not so much with the angelHave you tested your water parameters? From my own experiences with angels, the ones Ive kept have poor tolerance for changes in ph. If ive had one that was already stressed (just for example- bullied by other tank mates) if the water quality slips at all or there is a big fast change to the chemistry, I've lost them quickly under those circumstances.
Possibly. Theres probably nothing i can do at this point but let him go huhThe fins look a bit tattered possibly was harrassed by either the other Angels or Arowana.

Shoot i dont have any aquarium salt. Is the little cup he is in right now okay for the day and can i just put aquarium salt into that cup. I dont want to take him out of the water becuz without a heater hell get cold n dieYou can try and isolate the Angel and add a little aquarium salt.
All good thank you for the info and taking the time out your day to reply. Any response is appreciated!Sorry friend wish I could offer more help but Ive had very few successes in reviving an angel once it goes on its side.
