I think that we can eliminate a possibility or two, now that new fin growth is occurring and the edges are starting black and fading to white. Also oranges and golds are becoming more pronounced.

That sure does look like a lemon Oscar at this stage.

My "albino" tiger Oscar also turned out to be lutino like yours, with dark edging just coming in on the fins.

That's called a "false eye" it's to trick predators into attacking the tail not the face.

This is what the oscar looks like after 1 month. New growth starts black and fades to white; markings start cream, then metalic copper, that brightens to neon orange. She's already big enough to eat Massivore pellets.

Growth and development after 2 months. Adding more orange by the day. I'd estimate that she's 4" currently. Been feeding primarily Bio-Gold+

Start giving her some freeze dried krill. When I started giving Toni one or two a meal her orange blew up.

Jaxnell, how often do feed krill? I've been doing once a week and I soak them in Boyd's VitaChem
