Hello all, doing another weekend movie review, saw some good ones, keeping is short and sweet.
Us: Peele's next movie after Get Out, I personally wasnt a fan of the Get Out but really enjoyed Us. A group of doppelgangers terrorize a family that is on vacation. Its not scary per say, but very spooky. The actors did a wonderful job. There is a good mix of humor. I was entertained and focused in throughout. Lots of symbolism and metaphors that would be worth looking up after the movie. 7.3/10.
Instant Family: Mark Whalburg stars in this comedy about a couple starting a family through adoption, based on a true story. Very uplifting, happy tears (im a sucker for that). I very much enjoyed this movie. 8/10.
Hunter Killer: Cant go wrong with Gerald Butler. Happy K krichardson reminded me about this movie. Submarine captain, Navy SEALS and friends attempt to rescue the Russian President from Russia. Very much enjoyed. Great action and actually a great storyline. 7.1/10.
Prospect: Found this to rent and sounded interesting. Father/Daughter duo land on a far away planet's moon to harvest these rare gems. Takes place in the future of course, cool scenery and props but the film went slow and there is little to keep in interested. 6/10.

Glad you enjoyed those films.I'll get around to seeing Us at some point....."not scary but spooky" I like that lol.
Hotel Mumbai has my attention as well as Hellboy.
