Just a small update, becoming extremely aggressive towards everyone. Bichirs, peacocks, loaches plecos etc

Line is probably both. Just his fired up coloration.

So the pike has gotten real bad, all the other fish have physical damage whether it’s split fins or missing scales, saw him straight up grab a loach by it’s face for swimming by him the other day. He’s been separated in a 40 till I can figure this out

I thought these guys weren’t supposed to be that bad? Still a pike I suppose...

Pikes are gonna pike. Even the dwarf pikes can be real a-holes. You need a bigger tank if you want to keep him with other fish.

I just doubled his tank size from 125 to a 220, and the aggression didn’t start till 2 weeks into the new tank

I was hoping the large Ocell could start to challenge him but he’s even at the top of the water now ?

On the bright side the Kelberi who found himself in the jaws of my Endli started accepting pellets and is no longer being bullied by the group plus the Azul is looking quite Azul-y

125 to 220 is a nice upgrade. It it the standard 72"x24" footprint 220? or something different?

72x24, wanted the 8 foot layout but I got a good deal on a new tank, height is sort of pointless IMO.
