I have a small Lap, an ornate, and two albino Sens. One had cloudy eye upon shipping. It went away within a week with good care. Eating and growing like champs.

1x polypterus lapardeii 16”
1x polypterus palmas 8”

the lapardeii has a scissors tail, will probably start a new thread on help how to fix it

Body shape of palmas looks a little weird, like it’s head it’s much larger compared to rest of body. Could be due to captive breeding overtime

really? I’m not knowledgeable about upper jaw bichirs as much. The guy told me it was a palmas. He was quite unknowledgeable though. Thanks for confirmation

They are sold as palmas in my country too

Mostly lower jawed carpet now. Just missing a PBB and I’ll have mostly every LJ bichir. Upper jaws are really my cup of tea ?
