Happy 13th birthday young man! That's how many candles I can spot anyway.

Your parents have got a great sense of humour, and after all, you did ask them to do it, lol.
Not 13! They could only find 13 candles. 15 now. Delicious cake. Had it yesterday because I had COVID during my birthday (5/10). And it was the worst day of COVID!

Here you go esoxlucius esoxlucius , in honour of the queens jubilee I made a nice English fry up for lunch. Got the hash browns, eggs , bacon and black pudding cooked then sat down to eat and noticed the unopened can of baked beans I forgot to cook sitting on the bench.
Still tasted good I must say.

That's a good attempt. Sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and of course those beans would have finished it off. Smothered in daddies sauce and swilled down with a piping mug of good ol' Blighty builders tea.

I think you really only need sausages or black pudding, otherwise its too much meat.
Im allergic to mushrooms so never have them but agree this would be better with beans and tomatoes.
I havent had this meal for a while and really enjoyed it so will probably cook one up again soon, its winter here and we are breaking records with how cold it is so its a good excuse for a nice hearty breakfast/lunch!

In my time in the UK i learned HP is far superior to daddies sauce.
You are correct. As a kid my mum always used to get the "daddies" variety, which is still very good. It wasn't until later on that I was introduced to "HP", which is, as you say, the best one.

They also do a smart price variety over here simply called "brown sauce". This one is not so good at all, lol.
