Since I moved into this new house I live in with my parents, I got the onle aquarium I was allowed to have and made it count... and it has been maybe four or five years of having it, I am looking to sell it so I can move out sometime in the next few years for personal reasons.
The aquarium is eight feet long, four feet deep, and two feet all. It's background is black, and cannot be altered as far as I can tell. It is drilled, able to hook a sump up to it or to other aquariums if you want to mess with that kind of thing... And it has holes in the top besides its two main openings for plants. I do this at times.
The sump is a 40 gallon altered aquarium that honestly I find hard to get to due to how short the stand is. Its doable, just annoying. Nothing special about it.
Two powerful aquarium pumps will come with it as well. May as well, right?
This aquarium is worth alone 5000 dollars, but was not commissioned by me. It was commissioned in Cincinatti's Aquatics and Exotics, and built by its owner, Jason Hering. As a used aquarium, I wont ask for the price, but I do ask for its worth as what I bought it at, which I believe was 3200 USD.
I really love my hobby, and this aquarium is a dream come true... But I cannot possibly take this aquarium with me to an apartment, especially after the pandemic has made looking for work and rising prices making that situation far more difficult than it already was.
Currently, the aquarium is still full of water and in use with what is left of community fish. if i can get a buyer, I will make preparations for the aquarium to be picked up. I must make this clear...
THIS AQUARIUM WILL NEED WORK TO MOVE. I do not have suction cups, and I can offer so much help by hand myself. It currently sits in my basement as a lovely show piece, so it must go up one set of stairs and out the door. It is a one shot direction, no turns or anything complicated other than patients and cooperation. I will have to remove the door frames in the path, however, very much as I had to do upon getting this colossal object down the stairs. A fun day that was.
I know there are many people across the US who would love such a aquarium if they too are in this hobby and like their giant fish, or even large community aquariums.
If you are interested, send me a message and we will talk it over. I await any takers.
