Thanks! This was a cell phone shot in pro mode. My mirrorless can't hang in that light. Like most shots that you get lucky on, it just took patience. Since halfbeaks don't move herky jerky, I could bump the iso and cut the shutter. The halfbeak was easy to get to cooperate, cause they like the top and they always come to me when I'm at the tank. Biggest problem is other camera hogs... clowns and garras. Cause they get in my way. I've attached another that I like from that set.

Nice job U Uglyknob , Ive won POTM twice and both with a cell phone pic. I have a nice Sony DSLR but the lens is pretty slow so Ive never even attempted pics with it. And like you said its a matter of patience, sit in front of a tank long enough and take lots of pics and you will get something good eventually.
