Hello all! I have had these saulosi for a little over a year. No issues whatsoever. Have always fed a high quality flake (Yourfishstuff brand veggivore flakes)

I just want to check with you all and see if this looks normal to you or if you think the male saulosi in question has bloat and the female has sunken belly?

Example photos online make it look extremely apparent and sometimes its more subtle like what I think am seeing here. Please let me know if you think they're healthy or not. Thank you very much.

They look normal to me, female looks like she might have a mouthful, and could use a little extra conditioning prior to her next brood. Do they breed often for you?

Thanks for the response, this is great to hear!

Yes they do breed all the time but Ive only had 3 fry make it past the size to where they will not be eaten lol. Im setting up a breeding tank right now so I can hopefully raise more fry.

Ok, good luck with them. If you haven’t already, you might want to check this past thread out.
