Help Needed to Identify Genus of my Africa Tiger Fish

Hi All,

I recently acquired two African Tiger Fish one is supposed to be a Vittatus & the other a Goliath, but im not so sure now after reading the MFK African Tiger Fish Guide

Can one of the ATF Jedi Masters please tell me if i have the correct Genus of ATF.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

funny thing is after reading the guide for atf I was even more confused. What should I be looking for when selecting a gatf

I am no expert but neither look like a young Goliath as they always look a more shiny silver. They look like my Vittatus did when it was young which also got confised with Forksheli

Aren't all African Tiger Fish the same genus (Hydrocynus)?

This is an update on my tiger fish as I was recently looking at pictures of the forskalii species of tiger fish and noticed that they looked more similar to that species than the images if vittatus. just double checking that they are vittatus
