In your opinion, what fish are straight up killers, mustn't be kept in community tank at all? Hoplias Aimara? Big male Dovii? Aba Aba knife fish? Channa Micropeltes? Jardini? Flowerhorn? Or any other options?

What's your thoughts on channa micropeltes? I've heard they're overrated in terms of aggression.
Depends. I had one and grew it out with two Red Devils/Midas cichlids, an RTC, and a Pacu. It never bothered any of them and lived peacefully for about 6 to 7 months. But one day, I added my 10-inch walking catfish, and it ripped it apart. It didn’t tolerate any new fish in its established territory, especially similarly shaped ones, and it also attacked my gar, which I had to return. Their aggression definitely increases with size, and I wouldn’t recommend keeping them with other fish, as they can be unpredictable

This was mine. Measured about 16 inches when i sold it

Gorgeous fish btw, would you put them on the same level as aba aba and aimara in terms of aggression?

I've only kept cichlids in my 20+ years and i would have to say my female red terror she has killed 8 other fish but when i do WC or maintenance on the tank she runs and hides so very fish aggressive but not territorial where my Midas is just the opposite shes the tank boss but when i do WC he tags me every time

Haha, they said cichlids are one of the most intelligent and each individual has different personalities, and that's definitely true.

I personally would say any type of Salminus (Golden Dorado). they are very active predators and are constantly swimming.

though I have seen them do well in some people's tanks
