What sort of catfish would be a good feature fish for my tank? The tank is an 85 gallon tank and it will have sand as the substrate. It will have a spounge filter rated for 90gallons but the dimensions are 75x75x80cmish. Around 320L I think. I have algea wafers that my cories and pleco eats and flakes for other fish. (these are in my other tank) so would most catfish also eat this? it would possibly be the only fish in the tank or i could have others. I am in australia so many are banned and many cost a fortune. My budget is around 50$ (aud)

What other fish do you have in the aquarium? With the exception of the corydora most catfish species are more active at night.
i don't have anything as i'm waiting to get a powerpoint installed before setting it up
I recommend a synodontis species they don’t hide as much and some may be the size you want.
i thought they needed schools? I like a pictus but for 60$ it is very expensive. are there any others similar to that?
