My friend had one that just never grew past 5-6" while all his siblings doubled in size. Probably stunted or a dwarf. Kinda wish I bought it when I had the chance
Unless it was a few years old then it could just be a really small one, like you say maybe a dwarf for even the minis

He does in this country, that’s why I went with him after finding out Richard Hardwick overseas doesn’t ship to the US. There are others with lower prices, I forget the names of some of the smaller breeders for them but they are out there. I’ll also be breeding them in about 6months to 1year but I’m sure someone will see this thread and mention they have them too if you’re looking
haven’t had the luck yet Haha, plus usually it feels sketchy if i’m looking for a specific variant of an otherwise broad species. not looking to pay triple price for an other wise normal motoro since there isn’t any distinguishing features and purely based off the seller to give you a true mini. at a loss really since i’m unsure where to get them

There are definitely distinguishing features, I have photos of them if you’d like to compare a regular motoro to a high quality mini marble. The price points speak for themselves based off quality. There are lesser ones for lesser prices in the 500-600 range but the high grade minis can be up to 1,500 which sounds high. The effort to get the high end ones into the country wasn’t easy and there are years of selective breeding to get what we have today for certain lines

i would love to see pictures of mini marbled motoros and normal marbled, even with lower end mmms, if you get scammed you’re basically paying 600+ for a motoro that should cost a hundred

Sure thing here’s some

1st photo is a regular marble from backin the day maybe 10 years ago, common of what you’d see then.

2nd photo is a lower grade mini marble around the 4-600 dollar range

3rd and 4th photo are high end mini marbles from Chicago stingrays line

Some of us have been working with these rays a long time. Some further along then others with their lines, but one things sure, some of us never quit working our fingers to the bones for these things. Yet we fly under the radar. Slave away year after year with hopes of being acknowledged. Hopes to be mentioned amongst those known for having "the" nice ones. Lots of people seem to come and go in the Marble world. Ever wonder if there's any that never left? I bet if there is they probably hate the interweb.

Some people can afford to buy Ferraris. Some can't, so they have to build their own. Its what makes 'Merica great. Work your butt off and still be able to run with those imported ponies and the people with big pockets that own them?!?!?

nice specimen
Thanks!

First pup I've ever had that got bit after being born. Eye didn't heal so just kind of turned into a holdback. My kids like him but he's not the typical hold back grade. ;)

This guy had wild grandparents so not very far into the F scale....

DB junkie DB junkie I hear what you’re saying. Sadly, the only way to become “known” these days is to be active in social media and the internet. I’m not a fan. No social media accts, and MFK & simply discus are the only forums I frequent. Wondering how old is the stunning MM in the 1st pic you posted? How many pups can a mature mini female carry? I’d name the one eyed guy “bung-eye” lol. He’s cool as heck!
