Hi ive found this snail in a box im using to check equippment.
First i would really apprciate help in IDing him.
Second how do they reproduce? Do theyr eggs surviving being dry for months?
Everyhting that entered this box was dried for months so i dont get how did he appeared all of a sudden..20250325_010708.jpg
 
Malaysian trumpet snail, family Thiaridae.
They are ovoviviparous, holding developing eggs inside body, thus appearing to be viviparous (don’t lay eggs).
Can’t say anything as to how ir arrived. They are resistant to partial desication, but will not last very long if alivevif completely dry. Can hold some water inside and survive a while (hours to days) but not much longer.
