cichlid resistant plants

Hi everyone, looking for a little advice on a future set up. I'll be going back to my family home over the Christmas holidays and will pick up the last few tanks I left there, including a 40 gallon breeder I've earmarked for a pair of Honduran red points. These little guys are impossible to find...
