digestion

I am having a 16 inch silver aro, which shows two different characters either it keeps begging for food and if not fed becomes ferocious by biting the canister filter pipes , songe filters etc in the tank.. And once in 20 days it goes into a fasting mode when it literally appears to be facing...

Can feeding these foods too often to a Leopard Cteonopoma cause digestion problems because of the shells? My Leopard Ctenopoma will often spit out krill shells and make a mess even when I break the krill up into bite size pieces. I can't exactly remove the shells on these freeze dried foods...
