I know a regular sump filter and I understand Drip automatic water change system. But when I put this two things together I am lost - where do you put drain hole/pipe in this case, that all works even after you experience power outage?

I just setup a drip system with a 3 stage filter and am on city water. My 2nd and 3rd stage filters are chlorine reducing filters. But I want to be sure. Are there any chlorine test kits you all would recommend? If needed I would setup a slow drip for prime. Thank you in advance. Jeff
