Anyone have some good tips on breeding geophagus tapajos’ red head ? I have a group of 4 juveniles, 1 male and 3 females. Looking to breed them as they mature

I do know that fish contain nociceptors, but do they have the mental capacity to feel pain? Since they lack a neocortex, I was thinking that they most likely just perceive pain as information. Does anyone out there have a better answer?
