new flowerhorn

I bought a new flowerhorn about a week ago, he is very active and chases my hand when the light is turned OFF, but as soon as I turn ON the lights he is slow and less responsive, but becomes active immediately after turning OFF the light. P.S When lights are ON he does not seem to be afraid or...
