syngnathus nigrolineatus

Here are some photos from my trip to catch freshwater pipefish in Dniester. It is a marine species called Black Striped Pipefish or Syngnathus nigrolineatus, that had adopted to completely freshwater life. They live in breed in pure freshwater now. check out my blog for more pictures...
