yellow cheek carp

This is my growout thread. (6) 5"-6" Bambusa purchase from Wes (Rare Fish) @fugupuff. 1600 gal outside pond. I will continue posting on this thread as I go. What I noticed so far is that they do move around together as a shoal. Hangs around near the bottom but do come to the surface.

Thanks Wes for the shoal of Bambusas. They arrived larger than I thought they would be but once in the outside pond, I can't find them..haha. We'll see how they turn out in the pond. They do swim as a shoal and come near the surface. Arrived well packed and very healthy.

I believe Wes has them available again. Would be nice to gather some info on how to keep them. This goes out to members who have them currently and who have had them in the past. @thebiggerthebetter , @sunnysjourney, @fugupuff. Please share your experience. There are a lot of fishing pictures...

I've had the Goliath since February and at first I was just concentrating on getting him fat on cut catfish and tilapia. And after he got very comfortable in the tank I started starving him. It took about 50 ish days and he started accepting pellets today! And having my bambusa as a teacher fish...
