Does anyone of you know anything about PCB? I have this stereo board and some spots looks like they're burnt, Is it still fixable or it's damaged for good?
Burning on boards don't always mean the board itself is bad but it does usually weakens the inner circuits.
The other problem is what caused it? Mostly likely it's a part gone bad. If you can find the problem...great. Get a new part and change it. If not, it could be next to impossible to find it without an ICT tester made for it.
Most of the time in this case its better to replace the whole board.
So I assume youre asking because it no longer works?
Im not even sure i'd call those burn marks, more of a discoloration. But no, a burnt up part doesnt necessarily mean the death of the board.
