Nice aquascaping! IME, keeping fish only tanks or planted tanks with no to light fish load is easy. It's challenging to keep both plants and heavy fish load tanks.

You didn't mention what fish you plan to keep. Rainbow fish will be colorful and plant friendly, but you have tough plants and can keep angels, discus and many non digging dwarf to medium cichlid. I am partial to cichlid because they look more intelligent.

You didn't mention if you use CO2. You have some dense carpet wall plants. Are they fake or real?

My recommended stock would be surprisingly simple yet balanced.

FISH:
-5-6 Thoricthys Meeki
-16 different Cory cats
- 12 Black skirt tetras
-6 white skirt tetras
-5 zebra or yo yo loaches
  • Clown pleco
  • Bristlenose pleco
WHY:
This tank would be awesome because you have the firemouth(meeki) to occupy territories and what’s cool about these guys is that they will flare their red gills out in a stunning display, the Cory cats and loaches to occupy the bottom, they will swim all around and sift through the substrate. The black skirt and white skirt tetras are really strong swimmers and aggressive eaters that occupy the top half of the aquarium, the clown pleco and the bristlenose only get about 5-6 they will be a nice treat when you spot them, both are relatively cheap and will control your algae.

Thank you guys for the compliments sadly the tank is already occupied by my serrasalmus sanchezi who is 13 years old and tolerates no tank mates :( but someday when he is gone I will be restocking with actual fish.
PS my sanchezis name is Waldo

I dont run co2 on this tank but I DO use flourish excel the backwall and sidewall are astroturf not real grass but everything else is real, I didn't want to paint the tank nor did I want to leave it clear so I decided to silicone in some astroturf, it will look better as my tank fills in and I'm gonna attach some java ferns to it in the future
