Hey guys I’m looking for ideas on stocking my 125 gallon that is currently cycling. I currently am housing a juvenile jack Dempsey a juvenile jaguar a juvenile tiger Oscar and juvenile Texas cichlid in my grow out tank. am I pretty much maxed out already? Thanks

Yup I agree, in a 125 a big male jag probably won't want to share. I would get rid of the jaguar, and call it a day. Bioload of Oscar, JD, and texas when they are all large will max out the tank.
Damn ok thanks Ashame because I really like the jaguar when should I be able to tell if it’s a male? It’s about 3 inches right now

Parachromis loisellei is a cousin of the jaguar that is smaller and less murderous, which would be easier to do, however that 125 is still full IMO, maybe if you replaced the carpintis you could get one in there. As small fish the tank looks huge but all of your fish could pretty much fill it up themselves as adults.
I would post a pic of the jaguar we might be able to help or might have to wait until a little larger

Yeah I agree a parachromis loisellei would be a good alternative to a jag, imo I would swap him out for the oscar which would ease up your bioload a bit, you might be able to get a catfish in there with that stock
