16+ inch Black Belt cichlid

A LFS where I lived messaged me and told me they had an 18-20 inch black belt cichlid if I was interested. I thought…no way. I showed up and he was huge. He’s not 18-20 inches, but he’s a little over 16 inches. My 125 is almost too small so I’m thinking I’ll move him to my 180.

That BB is HUGE mate! I think the 180 would be wisdom. The smaller birchers could end up down the hatch!
They are too big for his mouth. The smallest one is about 9 inches.

Been a while since I've seen one so large, great pickup. We need some more shots! Was he in there long when this was taken if so he may be rather relaxed and not the butcher my current one tries to be.
