I'm a high school student and I need help stocking a tank. We need to make money and I was thinking of putting something up saying feed **** for 1$ like feeding piranhas and tiger barbs something. But I was wondering if there was a reasonable fish you could hand feed. Preferably we'll known and big and enticing to people. Maybe some kind of catfish or American cichlid. But any ideas to make money except for breeding would be appreciated.

pay to feed is going to either result in no money or extremely bad water parameters. Breeding is really the only way to make money in the hobby...short of owning your own aquarium and charging admission.

Pay to feed won't make any money for long term and you getting very bad water condition like other already mentioned. One of our LFS that had a in store pond 8 (long)x 4 (wide) x 1.5 (deep) feets housing Juv. Rays and Sharks and you have to buy food cost 2 dollar from the store to feed those rays/sharks, at first they attracted some parents with young kids to buy food from them but that hype soon goes away and nobody buying foods anymore. Also, the store have to change their live stock every few months cause the fish out grow the pond and might become too dangerous for kids with big sharks in the pond.
