Hey guys I'm doing ok. I'm still kind of in limbo right now. Can't do much with the hobby. I still check out MFK on the ocasion. Hope everyone is doing ok. Didn't realize that many people are still interested in all of this. I'm struggling hard financially. Not sure what's going to happen in the next few months, but might end up back in North Carolina. I've been daydreaming of my kitties, and a new tank build in the future. Looking at the tank builds on here I've got some ideas, but I think I'm years away from being able to do much of anything with fish again. When I do though hopefully my favorite tropical catfish won't be banned and I can pick up where I left off. I feel kinda naked without any catfish in my life. I'm still pretty sad about all of this. I wanted it so bad.

Keep your chin up man, I know right now you're the probably the president of the he man woman haters club.... but it does get better. Trust me.

You can also trust me when I say you will end up being a much better, smarter person all around in the future.

Also wanted to give you some news that might lift your spirits. Some say this might be kind of contadictory seeing as I rescue large tropical fish but.. In two weeks someone is bringing me a 2" SA RTC. So along with someone else on here I'm naming it "Necro" and if it's ok with you I'd like to throw up date pictures of the little fella on this thread for you to see. Kind of like your own little aquarium on the computer screen. THis way, your thread stays alive and in a year or two you can start another build in this thread... What say you?

There's a lot of extreme aquarists that are following this thread, I think it would be great to see you bounce back in the same thread... I have no doubt that you will definately bounce back.

That works, but you might want to make sure that you include some diy advice in with the posts though so that the mods won't say much. Like here's how you diy feed necro, lol. THat will seem kind of weird hearing everyone say "look at how big necro is getting!" Good idea.

I say when you get all settled in Necro we should start shipping you supplies that everyone has laying around to help you build another tank. Have you thought about using your GI Bill and going to school to help you pay the bills? I am doing that now and it helps out a lot in this crappy economy.

You are at 10 years, and I'm sure you still have those things that stand your neck hair right on up...

Necro when you get ready to start again I have an extra rtc ,he's about 16 inches now ,I will be more than happy/honored to give him to you..Picked him up as a recuse ,just could not say no..

I will be getting necro jr. on the 7th of March. Two days after my sons fifth b-day... It'll be easy for me to remember when I got him. Little 2" dude is gonna start in a 29, I want him tame by the time he's 3"....... A week later. LOL

I'm trying to get into a school right now. Starts in the fall for Pre Pharmacy. Not sure I'm gonna be in Montana long enough to go through with it right now though. I've applied for everything. Right now I'm on food stamps, the gf's kids are on medicade, I'm jobless, trying to get federal student aid on top of my GI benefits. I was approved, but it's up to the school. Still not sure though. Don't think I can stay in Montana much longer. It's beautiful here, but there's not much for me here anymore. I really miss the south.

Everyone on here helped me out a lot while I was building this tank. It frustrates me to no end that it was never finished.

I'm not really phased by the divorce anymore, just sucks trying to claw my way back out of this huge hole.

That's a noble jesture, but he'll probably be more like 3 ft by the time I'm ready for another one.

Only plan on him growing 1/2" the first week? What if he decides not to fast? That things going to be a true monster in your tank!
