Hello guys I recently purchased a used 180g cadlights (72 x 24x 24)
i plan to reseal the inside since some silicone appears to be damaged by most likely a razor blade style glass cleaner. I also notice the top glass brace is cut to fit the overflow box which i found odd and i would think would defeat the purpose of adding structural support
would i be ok to simply add a matching width strip of 1/2" glass over the box silicone the 2 pieces with a good 4" overlap on each side? or would it be better to buy a new full size piece of glass to replace the existing. The tank will be behind a wall so looks does not matter
while i will be resealing all the inside should i add a 1 1/2" strip 3/8" thick on the inside bottom like i see in some bigger builds to add additional support?
i will be using scs1200 since its what i can find locally
