Termites, just gotta keep an eye out.
Started sump today, got one leak.
Used bird netting for fruit trees and gutter mesh for media. Hope that works out, was very cheap. i can always change, no fine filter yet.
The water level is about an inch higher than expected.
Theres to much water in sumps, will adjust next week.
It has increased my total water by about 50G.
Has anyone got a sugestion as to how I could increase the speed of the overflow pipes, eg: drill holes in pipe etc

A note for the ply tank builders, make sure you put enough ventilation in the cabinet, to reduce mold, I've got surface mold on the ply around sumps. Winter here so we've got alot of condesation around.

Make sure you cover as much as you can, especially in the sumps. Covers are your friend. Even if you can somehow cut a plastic sheet and then gorillia tape it to the top of the sump barrels, that will help a lot. Gorrillia tape is better than normal duct tape, resists water better.
