Divorce and bankruptcy are in my future. I have 20 days to get rid of most everything I own. I will be moving, and going bankrupt as I cannot afford my bills on my own.
First off there is a 4000 gal plywood aquarium that I was building(link in my signature). I'm asking $2000 for the box (9' x 18' x 3.5' rough measurement) There is over $2750 in parts, and thousands of hours of labor by myself. If you live within 500-750 miles of 59405 I will consider delivery for a gas fee. You will get the tank, 3 acryllic panels for the front, acrylic that I was planning to make lids out of, extra plywood sheets, 5 gals of bluemax sealant, 1.5 gals of fiberglass resin, a 5000 gph pump, and 2 55 gal drums if you want them. There's also various 4" pipe fittings, and some gate valves that go with it. If you doubt the craftsmanship just look in the thread listed bellow.
There's also a 300 gal cattle trough with a homade drop-in bucket filter, and titanium 500 watt heater that I would like to sell for $100.
A 350 gal plywood encased cattle trough with 2 fluval fx5s, and it's fully insulated and has a homade insulated lid as well. Looking to get $500. More than $1500 invested in this tank. I will throw in a 50 gal cattle feed trough that I use as a medic tank as well.
There are some really large awesome looking river stones that I will throw in for free to whoever wants them.
Fish for sale or rehome:
I would like the opportunity to purchase my fish back from anyone who buys them in the future. If not than I will have to live with that, this is just a sudden thing and it's shocking to have to get rid of my passion.
38" RTC x TSN $500 obo, and you must prove that you have a minimum of a 400 gal aquarium and be willing to sign a document stating that when I have the money and tank space in the future I will purchase him back from you for double the purchase price. also must sign that I will pay to have the carcass shipped back to me if he should so die. Willing to ship anywhere in the U.S.A., but be advised this fish weighs more than 30 lbs out of water. For crating and water weight you will be looking at megabucks to ship so only serious buyers please. The fish is aggressive towards smaller fish. He is hand trained to be petting and handfed. By far the most awesome fish I have ever owned!!! Period! This fish has never been sick since I have owned him for the past 4 years.
26-38" MRTC if you don't know what it is you probably shouldn't bother. $200(sale pending) another awesome hybrid that can be handfed and petted. Slightly skittish at times, but is a magnificient fish. All terms for the first fish apply to this fish aslo.
14" filamentosum $200(sale pending) Very skittish nature. Better kept alone and grows to an immense size in the wild. Same requirements as the two listed above.
26" rtc(fat albert) best rtc I've ever kept. Very docile and has lived with smaller fish his whole life without eating them( other than a few really small ones) This guy loves to be handfed as well and will be a family favorite. Same requirements as above. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
14" rtc(small block) a rough and tough catfish. Still training on handfeeding and petting. $50 obo. Aggressive eater. same tank requirements as the above.
2 5" rtc x tsn $25 each plus shipping, prove to me that you can house or rehome these fish in the future. for life!
9" Marble catfish- $50 obo prove that you have the means to house this fish in a 300 gal or larger tank.
4" marble catfish- $50 obo same as above.
9" niger catfish- fast became a favorite of mine. These guys are awesome and grow huge! nuf said. $100 obo. Great eater, and fast grower. Proof of a 400 gal or larger tank. same requirements as the first set of fish.
16" lima shovelnose catfish. $150 obo. I might not sell this guy, but make me an offer and I'll think about it. Eats more than any fish I've ever seen that was this skinny. same requirements
2 8" channel catfish $25 each obo. large pond in southern areas, or a 300 gal or larger tank. These guys grow fast. My late albino went from 2" to 30" in just 3 years.
This is it for sale right now. I might consider selling the fluvals seperate once the fish are gone. They will be $125 each.
I will consider shipping for the right person. You will have to pay the price of the fish or item plus the full delivery charge. All prices are negotiable. I will consider delivery within 500-750 miles on fish, 500 miles for the tank(unless you make me an offer I can't refuse).
Again this is not what I want to do, but have no choice at this point. Payment will be made via western union within 48 hrs of a purchase notification. I will put that the sale is pending until payment is recieved. Thanks to everyone on mfk for all your support. I will be getting back into the hobby in the future, and that is why I ask that if you are going to sell or get rid of the fish you contact me first, and give me the option to buy the fish back from you for double your purchase price!
