Darn, you've got me scared now; I've got a dual rubbermaid overhead filter running over my 260g with rays; no cracks so far; Here's a vid of my setup:

I've been thinking about building a new below tank sump/wet/dry with plywood and pond armor;

I just looked at your video, I like your setup.
I have seen plenty of people use rubbermaid containers as filters with no problem. I had 2of 3 rubbermaid containers crack and afterward I noticed that the 2 that cracked were bought at the same time, the third that didnot crack was bought at a different store.
I am thinking that the ones that cracked on me were deffective bacause of the fact that the one that did not was bought at a different time(just a theory though).

I am off of work untill monday so between all of the honeydoos I should be able to work on the tank.

Making the cabinet doors is by far the worst part of this project so far but it still beats buying them for a rediculous price.
