8D filter pads

Just wondering if anyone had used the 8D filter pads that are sold on Amazon, eBay, temu ect?

Does it get clogged quickly?

What's your thoughts on it?

Thinking of using as a pre filter, but not if it gets clogged extremely fast

I have never tried that brand but they do look interesting. I use Aquatic Experts 100 micron filter floss and their 100/200 micron filter socks in all my sumps. Below is the brand I’ve been using for years. I tend to change floss and socks every 1-2 days but even in the events of leaving it in for a week it hasn’t clogged.
