Hi all, I am in the process of planning / creating a 8x4x4FT plywood aquarium. I plan on having a front viewing panel of 6x2ft, do you think I can get away with using 1/2 inch glass for the panel or should I go up to 3/4 inch? I just got my hands on an older 200 gallon and it would be a perfect candidate to break down and use for the viewing window on my current project. Few people have told me it should be more than fine, and a few have said the exact opposite. just looking for some more input as this is my first build. any and all tips, tricks, and advice is more than welcome.
