They do tend to be more aggressive than the other Satanoperca species I've kept. I got two from Jeff and lost one. Got three later from Scott Arney and lost two (this is the one left). Not sure what happened - they looked normal but the next thing you know they were dead :(. I'm going to put some size on this guy before introducing it to the bigger from.

This one is just over 4" and the other one is 5-6". They are really slow growers...
 
Very nice - they look like a cross between heckelii and daemon.
